    MVC offers professional and compassionate animal boarding services for both dogs and cats. Our experienced staff provides daily care, exercise, and personalized attention, with on-site veterinary support for any medical needs.   • Grooming

    MVC provides gentle, professional grooming services for both dogs and cats, ensuring your pet looks and feels their best. Our experienced groomers offer baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and more—all in a calm, clean environment. We cater to pets of all sizes and breeds, using safe, high-quality products. Whether your pet needs a simple tidy-up or a full spa day, we tailor each session to their specific needs and comfort. Our groomers are currently booked out by 4 months. They are not currently taking on any new grooming clients. For questions, please call.

  • Wellness Appointments

    MVC offers comprehensive general appointment services to keep your pet healthy and happy. From routine wellness exams and vaccinations to diagnostics and minor treatments, our experienced veterinary team provides personalized care in a friendly, low-stress environment. We take the time to answer your questions and ensure your pet receives the best possible care at every visit.

  • Medicine/Hospitalization

    From the general upset stomach to the need for hospitalization, we are here to help you at MVC. We have in-house ultrasonography, radiography, and blood analyzers to help diagnose your pet's illness.  Our end goals are to diagnose and create an individualized plan to help care for your pet during this time.

  • Surgery

    MVC provides a full range of surgical services for dogs and cats. This includes spays, neuters, mass removals, foreign body surgeries and more. All of our surgical procedures are performed to ensure your pets safety and comfort during the procedure. From pre-surgical consultation to attentive post-op care, we're here to support your pet's health every step of the way. 

Pricing

    • New Patient Exam: $55. New patients, meaning we have not seen them in the last year, require a $50 deposit at time of scheduling.

    Wellness Exam with Vaccinations: $45

    Brief Exam: $45

    Sick/Injured Pet Exam: $65

    Recheck Exam: $25

    • To receive medical advice or medications, we have to have seen the pet within the last year.

    • Any patient coming to receive their first round of vaccinations or their yearly vaccines require an exam.

    • Patients coming for booster vaccines do not require an exam.

  • Level 1: $17

    Level 2: $30

    Level 3: $45

    Levels are based on behavior of the animal and time. Please call if you have questions.

  • Dogs:

    Rabies Vaccination (1 year): $20.50. All healthy pets that are over the age of 3 months are required, by Indiana State law, to receive a rabies vaccination.

    Rabies Vaccination (3 year): $23.50

    DHPP Vaccination: $26

    DHLPP Vaccination: $28

    Bordetella Vaccination: $24

    Lyme Vaccination: $59

    Cats:

    Rabies Vaccination (1 year): $20.50. All healthy pets that are over the age of 3 months are required, by Indiana State law, to receive a rabies vaccination.

    Leukemia Vaccination: $35

    FVRCPC Vaccination: $17

  • Gland Expression: $20

  • Fecal Flotation: $25

    This test looks for intestinal parasites.

  • Flex 4: $50.50

    In order for your pet to be on heartworm medication, it is required that they receive a heartworm test yearly.

    Flex 4 tests for:

    1. Heartworm

    2. Anaplasmosis

    3. Lyme disease

    4. Ehrlichia

    It is important to test your pet for these common diseases so treatment can be started as soon as possible and help keep your pet happy and healthy.

  • Leukemia/FIV Test: $50.50.

    This test looks for common feline retroviruses. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. The Leukemia tests for Feline Leukemia Virus.

  • Feline Neuter: $146 and up

    Feline Spay: $181 and up

    Canine Neuters:

    • 0-25lbs: $247 and up

    • 26-50lbs: $283 and up

    • 51-75lbs: $321 and up

    • >75lbs: call for pricing

    Canine Spays:

    • 0-25lbs: $272 and up

    • 26-50lbs: $308 and up

    • 51-75lbs: $388 and up

    • >75lbs: call for pricing

  • Dogs:

    Boarding is $27.50 per night, per dog. If your pet is picked up before noon on their scheduled departure date, you do not get charged for that day.

    Cats:

    Boarding is $22 per night, per cat. If your pet is picked up before noon on their scheduled departure date, you do not get charged for that day.

  • Microchip & Registration: $65

  • Our Urgent Care fee is $100. This includes examination and urgent care fee. This service is only offered to our current clients.

  • Hospitalization and surgery are done with estimates. Please call if you have questions.

  • All cremations are done on-site here at Monon Veterinary Clinic. Find peace in knowing your beloved pet never leaves us and that we are with them in every step of the process. Private cremation remains are placed in handmade urns made by Dr. Shields’ husband.
